About Us
Rooted Reminder Foundation is dedicated to creating safe spaces for conversations around anxiety, OCD, intrusive thoughts, and mental health.
Our work focuses on providing relief, emotional support, mental health education, and coping tools for people from all walks of life navigating mental health challenges.
We believe that mental health is a universal part of the human experience, and that with the right support, tools, and understanding, people can learn to navigate overwhelming moments and return to the present.
Through education, storytelling, grounding practices, and community conversations, Rooted Reminder Foundation exists to remind people that they are not alone.
Why we exist

Why we exist *
Mental health challenges can affect anyone. For many people, experiences like anxiety, intrusive thoughts, OCD and emotional overwhelm can feel confusing, isolating, or misunderstood. Without the right language or support, individuals may struggle silently without realizing that others share similar experiences.
Often, these struggles are not immediately visible to others. Many people carry emotional pain behind smiles, continuing with their daily lives while privately navigating thoughts, fears, or overwhelm that others cannot see. Not all wounds are visible, and because of this, many individuals suffer in silence without others realizing the weight they may be carrying.
Rooted Reminder Foundation was created to help bridge that gap.
Our goal is to make conversations around mental health more accessible, compassionate, and approachable so that individuals feel empowered to better understand their minds and seek the support they deserve.
By creating spaces where people feel safe to learn, reflect, and share their experiences, we hope to help reduce stigma and remind people that healing and support are possible.
Our Approach
Rooted Reminder Foundation believes that mental health support should be accessible to anyone seeking it.
Rather than limiting support to a specific demographic, our work focuses on providing tools, education, and conversations that can support individuals from many different backgrounds and life experiences.
Our approach combines:
•Mental health education
Helping people understand anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and emotional experiences.
•Coping tools
Grounding techniques that support emotional regulation.
•Storytelling and creative expression
Helping people feel seen and understood through music, art and storytelling.
•Community conversations
Normalizing discussions around mental health
By blending education with creativity and lived experience, we aim to make mental health support feel more human and approachable.
Our Vision
Our Vision
We envision a world where conversations about mental health are open, compassionate, and free from stigma.
At Rooted Reminder Foundation, we believe that understanding the mind should never feel out of reach.
Too often, people experience anxiety, intrusive thoughts, OCD, or emotional overwhelm without the language or support needed to make sense of what they are going through. Our mission is to expand access to mental health education, emotional support, and grounding tools so that individuals feel better equipped to understand and navigate their mental health with confidence, language, and support.
Through open, rooted conversations, we aim to create spaces where people feel safe enough to learn, reflect, and speak honestly about their experiences. These conversations are meant to remind individuals that they are not alone and that what they are feeling can be understood with compassion rather than judgment.
A meaningful part of this vision includes bringing mental health professionals into the conversation.
By speaking with therapists, psychologists, and other specialists, we hope to share credible knowledge, lived experiences, and practical tools that help individuals better understand what they may be experiencing and how to seek support.
Our long-term goal is to help build communities where people feel safe talking about their mental health and where resources are accessible to everyone. We believe meaningful change begins with education, and that the earlier individuals are given the language to understand their emotions, the stronger and more resilient they can become.
Ultimately, we hope to see mental health education become a standard part of school curriculum so that young people grow up in environments that equip them with the emotional awareness, language, and coping skills needed to navigate life’s challenges.
By fostering early understanding and continuing open conversations throughout communities, we believe a future is possible where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered to care for their mental wellbeing.
“If you can save a mind, you can save a life.”
Let this be a Reminder…
Even in overwhelming moments, you are not alone.
You are supported, understood, and healing IS possible.
